Want to create ghostly images with me?

Flowing garments, sheer materials, veils, or draped fabric can enhance movement and ghostliness. Candles, smoke, soft and or blurred images. Let the hair be wild, windblown, or covering the face partially.

“She Moves Like Memory

She walks quietly through the world,
like something half-remembered,
a whisper you can’t quite place.
She is here—but not entirely.
Not anymore.

She is a woman turned ghost—
not because she died,
but because the world forgot how to see her.

They erased her edges.
Softened her voice.
Taught her to stay small and polite
until she slipped through the cracks
like mist.

She isn’t gone.
She lingers in glances,
in sighs,
in the places where silence feels heavier than it should.

You’ll find her in mirrors.
In the shape of absence.
In the way your chest tightens when something beautiful aches.

But don’t mistake her quiet for weakness.

Ghost women are made of what endures.
Of love that never got to be spoken.
Of rage that turned to frost.
Of dreams too wild to die.

She haunts because she’s unfinished.

And maybe—
just maybe—
she’s ready to be remembered.
To step back into skin,
into voice,
into light.

To return not as shadow—
but as storm.”
