Bound to You, Even in Death - Sedona Witchy Photoshoot
Sedona Witchy Photoshoot
This shoot was so much fun. Abby - this model and make up artist who grew up here in Sedona- is engaged to be married. This shoot was inspired by that and this white dress someone gifted me. I soaked in black tea over night and decided we shoot do a “TO DEATH DO US PART” type of shoot. We packed up our gear and hiked about 15 minutes to this spot. When you have a lot to carry, that can seem like a long walk. We had so much fun.
You can find Abby here on her website - I use her for many of my shoots here in Sedona. She does a ton of weddings, and also loves to get a little wild and witchy, or theatrical.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR WITCHY PHOTOSHOOT
If you’ve been feeling the pull… this is your sign.
I’m currently booking witchy desert sessions.
This isn’t a polished, stay-perfect kind of session. This is where you let go.
Expect to get a little wild… a little grounded… a little undone in the most beautiful way.
Come Ready to Move
You won’t be standing still and posing the whole time. You’ll walk, spin, breathe, feel the wind, and exist in your body. Movement is where the magic happens — where your energy comes alive on camera. I will guide you the entire shoot.
Bring the Essentials (and Leave the Rest)
Bring flip flops or easy shoes — we’ll be walking through dirt, rocks, and desert terrain and we shoot barefoot a lot so bring easy to kick off shoes
Be okay with getting a little dusty (that’s part of the vibe)
Pack water + anything you need to feel comfortable, thin leggings and a tank can make changing easy
This is not about staying pristine — it’s about being real. Bare feet. Wind in your hair. Red dust on your skin.
The desert — especially somewhere like Sedona — becomes part of the experience. You’re not separate from it… you’re in it.
This is your reminder…You are powerful
You are intuitive
You are allowed to take up space.
You Don’t Need to Know How to Pose- you’ll be fully guided the entire time.
But more than posing, I’ll guide you into feeling grounded, powerful and connected.
The goal isn’t perfection — it’s presence.
This dress above that I tea stained was from Joyfoie
This Is an Experience, Not Just a Shoot
You’ll leave with more than photos.
You’ll leave feeling more connected to yourself, more confident in your body and more grounded in who you are.
Abby got this headpiece on ETSY I made a couple of cool Etsy Lists HERE IS MY GODDESS LIST and HERE IS MY CONCEPTUAL IDEA LIST
Come open and Come curious
Come ready to meet a version of yourself you may not have fully seen yet.
The desert doesn’t ask you to be perfect.
It just asks you to be real.

Honor a Season of Becoming
Whether you’re healing, evolving, stepping into something new, or reclaiming yourself — this session becomes a marker of that moment. A visual reminder of who you were… and who you’re becoming.
Witchy sessions - my favorite! We shoot for 90 minutes, maybe a little longer. In Sedona we start out in the sunshine, so we focus more on a “light” witch” look. Lighter colors, nature props, movement. I guide and pose you. Choose a flowy dress to create movement and emotion. Make sure you wear colors that go with the landscape. Ivory, Antique Pink, a deep yellow, teal, blue, and black. I love to end in black, but we can shoot black any of the time.
My sessions are $1300. I bring props and guide you the entire time. I have some dresses, we can talk. I have a few capes:) Bring anything meaningful that you can pack in (this location is a 25 minute short hike and it’s my favorite)
I love shooting barefoot - bring some flip flops so you can walk and then kick them off. We change out in nature:) This location is super private.
I take a $200 deposit to hold the date. The rest is due the day we shoot. You can pay more of a deposit if you want to break up the price a little.
You will see 20 or so sneak peeks from our shoot the next day (usually unless I am leaving town) and my turn around time is 5-8 weeks.
