Sedona Women Empowerment Photogrpaher

This is the beginning of me sharing stories from women that are not always “Witchy” or dark, moody. Not every woman that comes to me encompasses that personality. I have two websites where I keep the vibes separate. My plan is this website will be where all the women I shoot withs story will be told.

We all know that I believe every woman has her witchy side. So weather it is smokey and dark with a full moon, or a beautiful woman in a pink dress blending with a landscape and being free in nature, HERE is where their story will live. For this shoot WE DID BOTH some simple beautiful portraits, and as the night grew darker, we added a sprinkle of a witch.

That being said, this is the beautiful Lindsey. She lives in upstate New York and I have known her for years.

I tried to show her as she is in all her beauty, and then we went a little more elaborate. We shot at two locations - and just used a few dresses.

I also took her on a long motorcycle ride, and she rode on the back. We borrowed my friend’s quad and took turns riding it through the desert mountains. I love this woman, and it is an honor to be chosen to capture her in all of her feminine divine beauty.

WHY ALL WOMEN ARE WITCHES

  • Intuition — reading energy, sensing what isn’t said

  • Creation — bringing life, ideas, and connection into the world

  • Emotional depth — feeling and processing in ways that aren’t always visible

  • Transformation — evolving, shedding, becoming again and again

  • Connection to cycles — nature, seasons, rhythms of the body and life

For centuries, women who were independent, knowledgeable, or deeply in tune with themselves were often labeled as “witches”—not because they practiced magic, but because they held power outside of what was accepted.

So calling women “witchy” today is often a reclaiming of that energy:
not something dark or negative, but something intuitive, self-aware, and quietly powerful.

That said, it’s not universal. Not every woman relates to that language, and that’s okay. It’s just one way of describing a kind of inner awareness and strength that many people—women and men—can have.

Witchy sessions OR NOT! - my favorite! We shoot for 90 minutes, maybe a little longer. In Sedona we start out in the sunshine, so we focus more on a “light” witch” look. Lighter colors, nature props, movement. I guide and pose you. Choose a flowy dress to create movement and emotion. Make sure you wear colors that go with the landscape. Ivory, Antique Pink, a deep yellow, teal, blue, and black. I love to end in black but we can shoot black any of the time.

My sessions are $1300. I bring props and guide you the entire time. I have some dresses, we can talk. I have a few capes:) Bring anything meaningful that you can pack in (this location is a 25 minute short hike and it’s my favorite)

I love shooting barefoot - bring some flip flops so you can walk and then kick them off. We change out in nature:) This location is super private.

I take a $200 deposit to hold the date. The rest is due the day we shoot. You can pay more of a deposit if you want to break up the price a little.

You will see 20 or so sneak peeks from our shoot the next day (usually unless I am leaving town) and my turn around time is 5-8 weeks.

Photoshoot Locations Sedona

For these shoots we shot in two locations. Doe Mountain (below) which is VERY windy and about a half hour hike up steep terrain. And the rest of the shoot was at Secret Slick Rock- a Sedona Classic with the Cathedreal Rock in the background. That one is a quick 15 minute walk in.

Me and my familiar EZME!
